Our Team

Ben Arneberg is the Managing Partner and founder of Blue Skies Collective.

Ben is a serial entrepreneur, having started and sold three successful businesses prior to founding Blue Skies. The most recent of these businesses was Pet Honesty, a consumer brand dedicated to improving pet health. As founder and CEO of Pet Honesty, Ben profitably grew the business from $0 to $70M in sales in less than 3 years, ultimately selling the company to private equity.

Ben is a former U.S. Air Force satellite engineer and member of the Air Force Parachute Team. He holds a Master in Computer Science from Northeastern University and Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Scott Patterson is a Partner at Blue Skies Collective and is responsible for working with and supporting portfolio companies. 

Prior to joining Blue Skies, Scott held leadership roles at consumer and technology companies. Most recently, Scott helped scale Pet Honesty from a 7-figure annual sales business to 9-figures, leading to an acquisition by private equity. Scott's broad experience leading teams in sales, marketing, operations, and business development enables him to support partner companies across a wide spectrum of challenges.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. 

 

Brooke Isola is the People Operations Manager at Blue Skies Collective and is a true swiss army knife. She is focused on streamlining Blue Skies' operations and recruiting top talent for our portfolio companies. 

Prior to Blue Skies, Brooke spent time overseeing operations, human resources, and events at several fast-growing consumer companies. Most recently, she worked for a healthcare startup where she was responsible for all things people and culture.

Brooke holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Texas Tech University. 

Oliver Bell is a Business Analyst at Blue Skies Collective. He works to support partners across various portfolio companies.

Prior to Blue Skies, Oliver attended undergrad in the Bay Area. During his studies he also interned for a private equity firm doing high-volume roll-ups and an AI marketing technology start-up focused on brand marketing.

Oliver holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus in international relations.
